Retreat Terms & Conditions

Retreat Agreement. When you purchase a deposit for the retreat, you agree to the Terms & Conditions below. You also confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.

Please read the following terms carefully:

1. Parties

This Agreement is entered into between Soul Fire Lighter, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us”) and the individual completing this booking (“Guest,” “you”). By paying a deposit and/or checking the agreement box below, Guest agrees to all terms contained herein.

2. Retreat Details

Event: Soul Fire Lighter Provence Retreat 2026
Dates: September 5–12, 2026
Location: Gordes, Provence, France (specific villa address provided upon booking confirmation)
Capacity: 10 paying guests maximum
Total Investment: $6,500 early bird / $6,800 standard, per person, all-inclusive as described on this page

3. Payment Terms

Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $1,500 USD is due at time of booking to secure your spot. This deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Balance: The remaining balance is due no later than June 30th, 2026. Failure to pay the balance by this date may result in forfeiture of your seat and deposit without notice.

Payment Plans: Payment plans may be available upon written request and at the sole discretion of Soul Fire Lighter, LLC. Contact us before booking to arrange. Payment plans must be fulfilled per the agreed schedule or the full balance becomes immediately due.

Currency: All amounts are in US Dollars (USD). Guest is responsible for any currency conversion fees.

4. Cancellation Policy

Guest cancellation before June 30th, 2026: Deposit ($1,500) is forfeited. Any balance paid above the deposit is refundable, less a $150 administrative fee.

Guest cancellation on or after June 30th, 2026: All payments made are non-refundable. No exceptions. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect your investment.

Transfer of retreat reservation spot: Transfers to another eligible guest may be permitted at our sole discretion and must be requested in writing at least 30 days before the retreat.

5. Retreat Cancellation by Soul Fire Lighter

Soul Fire Lighter reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the retreat due to circumstances including but not limited to: insufficient enrollment (minimum 6 confirmed paying guests), force majeure events, natural disaster, illness of facilitators, government travel restrictions, or venue unavailability.

If we cancel: All payments received (including deposits) will be refunded in full within 30 days. Soul Fire Lighter is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by Guest including flights, travel insurance, accommodation, or other expenses.

If we postpone: Guest may transfer their payment to the rescheduled date or receive a full refund.

6. Travel Insurance — Required

Travel insurance is required for all guests. Guest must purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy covering: trip cancellation and interruption, emergency medical evacuation, medical expenses abroad, and lost or delayed baggage. Proof of coverage may be requested before the retreat. Soul Fire Lighter accepts no liability for losses that travel insurance would have covered.

7. Liability Waiver

Guest voluntarily participates in the Soul Fire Lighter Provence Retreat and all associated activities including but not limited to: breathwork, meditation, intuition work, movement practices, group excursions/classes, and transportation.

Guest acknowledges that participation involves inherent risks and agrees to release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Soul Fire Lighter, LLC, its founders, facilitators, staff, contractors, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising from participation in the retreat, including claims arising from negligence.

This waiver is binding on Guest and Guest’s heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns.

8. Health Disclosure

Guest agrees to disclose any physical or mental health conditions, allergies, medications, or circumstances that may be relevant to participation in retreat activities (including breathwork or movement) at the time of booking. This information is kept strictly confidential and used only to ensure your safety and appropriate facilitation.

Guest confirms they are physically and mentally capable of participating in retreat activities. Soul Fire Lighter is not a medical or mental health provider. Nothing in this retreat constitutes medical, psychological, or therapeutic treatment.

9. No Guarantee of Outcomes

Guest acknowledges that personal transformation, spiritual development, and intuitive growth are deeply individual processes. Soul Fire Lighter does not guarantee any specific outcome, healing, realization, or result from participation in the retreat. Results vary by individual.

10. Photo & Video Release

Soul Fire Lighter may capture photographs and video during the retreat for use in marketing materials, social media, and future promotional content. By checking the agreement box, Guest grants Soul Fire Lighter, LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use images or video in which Guest appears. Guest will not be identified by full name in public materials without written consent.

11. Code of Conduct

Guest agrees to engage with fellow retreat participants, facilitators, and staff with respect, openness, and care. Soul Fire Lighter reserves the right to remove any participant from the retreat — without refund — for behavior that is disruptive, harmful, or incompatible with the group’s wellbeing and safety.

12. Presence & Participation

Our retreat lodge sits in the heart of the village, and while you are warmly welcome to explore on your own during leisure time, we ask that you always notify a facilitator before stepping away from the property or any scheduled activity. Your safety is our responsibility. Unannounced departures also disrupt the sacred container we hold together. On excursion days, private transportation will depart on schedule and cannot be held for late arrivals.

More than a logistical ask, this is an invitation to honor the commitment you made — to yourself and to the women beside you. Showing up fully is the first act of that devotion, and your presence is woven into the experience for everyone. If something comes up, please simply let us know — we will always do our best to support you while keeping the group experience intact.

13. Confidentiality

What is shared in the retreat container stays in the retreat container. Guest agrees not to share the personal disclosures, stories, or experiences of other participants outside of the retreat, in any form including social media. This confidentiality obligation survives the conclusion of the retreat.

14. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Colorado.

15. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between Guest and Soul Fire Lighter, LLC regarding the Provence Retreat 2026 and supersedes all prior communications. This is a v1 draft and may be updated. Guests will be notified of any material changes before the balance due date.
