What Spiritual Gifts or Clairs Do You Have?

We all have spiritual gifts or psychic abilities. They’re called the “clairs”. Each person has their own unique combination of these gifts.

Sometimes one ability is more dominant than the rest and another closely follows as a strong secondary ability. Those who work on developing their intuitive abilities can have multiple!

Clairsentience (Clear Feeling) Questions:

• Do you feel others’ emotions/energy?
• When you walk into a room, can you sense the energy of it? (tension, anger, creepy, comfortable, welcome etc)
• Do you physically feel another’s pain or emotion?
• Have you ever sensed something was there even though you couldn’t see it?
• When out in public, do you suddenly get sad or anxious out of the blue?
• Have you ever felt like something/someone touch your arm, shoulder or head but nothing was there?
• Do you get overstimulated easily? Are you sensitive to lights/smells/visual stimuli/tags on clothing, textures?

Claircognizance (Clear Knowing) Questions:

• Do you find you know things sometimes without knowing how you know?
• Have you ever known something was about to happen before it did?
• Have you ever starting thinking about someone and can feel that they’re having a hard time only to find out later, that they were?
• Have you ever been thinking of someone and they call/text shortly after?
• Have you known something in your gut/heart to be true even though it logically it doesn’t make any sense? (And then later you find out those feelings were correct?)
• Knowing a song will come on the radio right before it does or knowing the teacher is going to call on you?
• Do ever have dreams that somehow you know you’re dreaming and while in the dream, you can make choices to change or alter your dream? (Lucid dreaming)
• Can you sense when someone is lying to you?
• Do you ever say the same things at the same time with a close friend or family member?

Clairvoyant (Clear Seeing) Questions:

• Have you ever seen something in the corner of you eye (peripheral vision) but when you turned to look, it’s gone?
• Do you have a very good imagination?
• Do you have very vivid dreams?
• Can you easily visualize in your mind, the scenes described in a book or when listening to someone share a story?
• Do you ever have flash forwards? (Vision of an accidental fall that almost happened but didn’t but you could still see the possible outcome if the fall did happen?)
• Can you see the aura of others?
• Do you experience déjà vu?

Clairaudient (Clear Hearing) Questions:

• Have you ever felt any deceased loved ones near? Do you ever feel like you can hear them speaking words to you (even though it seems like it’s just your own thoughts?)
• As a child, did you ever hear voices?
• Does a song come out of nowhere for you? Do you notice the words of the song have special meaning? Or does the song remind you of a person or memory/time in your life and there seems to be a message in getting that song at that exact moment, almost like an answer to prayer?
• Have you ever heard a voice of warning in your head? Or with your actual physical ears like someone actually spoke but no one is there?

Clairtangency (Clear Touch) Questions:

• Have you ever picked up an item and immediately felt sick to your stomach?
• Have you picked up an item and wondered or marveled about it’s lifetime/history or previous owner?
• Have you ever felt drawn to touch a certain object, fabric, texture, stone?
• Are you drawn to crystals because of how they make you feel?
• Have you ever felt like you could sense the story of an item, like it’s history or the person it belonged to?

Clairalience (Clear Smelling) Questions:

• Have you ever looked at a photo and swear you could smell the flower or the place in the photo?
• Have you ever smelled something in the air (out of the blue) that reminds you of someone? Such as perfume your deceased grandma used to wear?
• Have you ever looked at an image on Facebook Marketplace and can just tell and almost smell that the previous owner was a smoker or that the piece smells musty or old?

Clairgustance (Clear Tasting) Questions:

• When watching a cooking show or food photos online, can you almost taste it?
• When someone is describing food, can you almost taste it in your mouth?
• When thinking about a memory, do you experience a sensation of a taste from that memory?

How Many Gifts Do You Have?

Did you find that you could answer yes to several different sections? Which one was your most dominant? Often, you’ll find that intuitive gifts run in the family. Encourage other family members to answer the questions and compare how the answers differ and are similar. You might discover that your family has a history of vivid dreaming that often depict events that are about to happen.

Your clair abilities are your unique blend of gifts that help you receive answers and help you to serve others around you. They are meant to help us all live our highest good and remind us that we are all connected with each other. They are such an amazing blessing and can help you feel known, seen, heard and loved in your every day life.

Don’t be afraid to use your gifts and to seek out ways to develop them more. Embrace your abilities and they will get stronger and help you feel connected to your greater purpose.
